Don't feel bad Steve, I just got mine running about a week or two ago. I ransacked my layout for track and power components for the Christmas set up, then had nothing at all for a while.

I'm making everything banana plugs so I can disconnect easily. The layout area is tight and sometimes I want to move the transformer cart out of the way to get at what is stored behind it. It's really not a big project, just lack of time. Got most of my moms estate settled and her house fixed up and sold so now a bit more time for me. That and some warm weather in the forecast and I will get to spend some more time in the garage.

Dave,
I can only imagine how difficult the weather must be in Southern California for Steve and all of our brethren out on the left coast.
Spring is almost here in Wisconsin.

We are funny creatures. We get acclimated to our climates pretty easy. I did live in Larami Wyoming for a couple of years when I was a kid, and 2 winters in the Korean DMZ so I’ve seen plenty of cold. A big deal to us, but you guys in the east laugh. LA had it's first Feb in 135 years without once reaching 70. Hasn’t made it this month either, but the forecast later this week looks stunning ☀️ Not sure if it’s age or my MG, but I don’t tolerate the cool as well as I used too.
Steve
I agree about the cold. After 20 years working in factory where it was warmer outside (except the office of course) I'd rather be hot.And Korea gets beyond cold.
Thank you for your Service Steve

Oh Greg, that’s Northern Wisconsin. It looks like Summer is almost here!
We’re finally melting slowly, south of the border, in Illinois.
Steve, I worked in LA for a full year. In January I wore a long sleeve dress shirt, no jacket. I was crossing the street for lunch. There was a little wind and it was about 56 degrees. I looked over to the opposite corner and saw someone in a snow parka with a ski mask and snowmobile gloves on. Then, someone crossed from the other side of the street, also wearing a parka. She looked at me and said, “You must be from Chicago.” I nodded and smiled.

If it’s upper 50’s when I leave the house in the morning, I go with shorts and flip flops.
