1) Scale Heavyweight Polar Express cars.  I didn't see any.  No Combination Car.  No Abandoned Toy Car.  But not still looking.  Have them, but was still on the lookout.

2) MTH Premiere Norfolk Southern PS2.0 diesels in used, but good shape, either powered or non-powered.  Didn't see any, and am still looking.

I supposed this is a Train Collector (TCA) event, and not a Train Operators event...

I was looking for a Railking Gondola with Scrap Load in Union Pacific. This was done in the UP MOW silver with black lettering. Only done once a few years ago. Couldn't find it. I thought it would be reasonably easy considering it was relatively recent production. I saw it was still listed as in stock at MTH and I asked my dealer to order one for me which he did. I should have it on the weekend.

Greg,

I have 5 or 6(roughly) brand new in the boxes Weaver PRR woodchip hoppers with the die cast trucks.  They are packed away but if you are interested in them,  Shoot me an email at the address in my profile and I will dig them out and get the info on them for you.  I believe I paid $42 each for them and that's what I would sell them for plus shipping.  Let me know.

Did not find many O scale auto models, such as those by Brooklin...two dealers once there are gone(amazing how many auto models WERE there, in odd scales...didn't find Weaver trucks, especially arch bars, for sale there.....didn't find

any drop bottom gons with western road names.....did not find a couple of caboose

books I was looking for...one I know exists and is pricey, other I am not sure exists,

but what railroad book has NOT been done?

Me 2.

But, I expected that.

So, I 'pulled the chain' of the first Atlas rep I came across....put in my vote for the remake of this kit to be Atlas' next structure kit.

I hope my timing was as good as it seemed......I was told that Atlas management was holding a company meeting in NJ following York week.  So I sez.....'If 'customer requests' is an agenda item, here's mine!'

Hey, couldn't hurt.

And, frankly, I was quite surprised (albeit pleased) that the theater with animated marquee came back onto the scene so quickly....ahead of a seemingly simpler kit....such as the Water Tower/Standpipe.

So, we'll see what 2016 brings.

The only Hudson I own is the Marx #1829, since it is their largest and one of their

three steamers I have interest in (for only that reason..it is the largest, and I converted another of those into a 2-8-2).  Another engine I consider done to death is the Pacific, and I asked Wms. by Bachmann about the one they displayed at York in the Orange Hall, since they could stick a 2-8-2 frame under that boiler and create the once promised Mikado.  Answer:  No chance!

It was my understanding the Williams Pacific is a K-Line semi scale engine. K-Line offered both the semi scale Pacific and Mikado using the same boiler. Maybe the mounts were altered but they are cosmetically the same. I have the K-Line semi scale Mikado and its fine little engine. You could probably pick one of these up for less than cost of the Williams Pacific.
