What Do You Want Santa To Bring You For The Holidays

another Lionel Berkshire would be nice!!

I was told santa already brought/bought too much during "Christmas in July".

A bundle of switches (Ross #6's to be precise) 

A MTH European electric locomotive. Received some European cars for my birthday so I need something to pull them. 

I would love a nice Mayflower set, but Mrc Claus doesn't want another 8 ft long train set around.
So I would love a new transformer! I loaned all of mine out to family members I set up with trains for Christmas. Me and my big mouth.  Lol

Santa treated me very well at the Cal-Stewart meet a few weeks ago so I hate to ask for anything, but that new MTH repro 4686 Flying Colonel loco sure could use some nice blue 19" coaches to pull behind it

Just about anything from my long list of preorders that have been languishing for up to a year or more will do for me. 

I have requested the 2012 Lionel Christmas car.

However my 4 year old train connoisseur has requested a Acela set from Santa!

Luckly I was able to secure a second hand set at a very very good price.

 

I have had it stashed away for about 5 months hoping he does not change his mind.

 At least I have tested it and it all works.

I just got it.It's a Mth Z4000 transformer,just wished Santa would pay for though.

I like would like Santa to bring me one of the British trains in the new MTH catalog. Also if he has time; turn my 031 turns into 054....and Peace on Earth is a given.  

Since I have been really good this year, I would like that preorder MTH R36 subway to arrive at my house soon.

Santa just brought it this past week, Another Lionel E-6 Atlantic, with legacy. I Love those little engines.

Time with my family and loved ones.

The Conrail version of the NS Heritage engines.  (Santa, if you're all out, a Reading or Jersey Central will do.)

On behalf of the boss's LHS, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Santa, bring the Lionel annual Christmas/Holiday cars...et al... in a TIMELY manner.  The shoppers are becoming restless and exhibiting unusual early holiday...'spirit'! (). 

 

my santa said there will be no more train crap this year.

I believe Santa is bringing me a DCS along with Barry's book.

every year it's a lionel 8801, the scale blue comet stuff i great but theres nothing like the MPC era for me, i'd also like a berk a real one like a 726 0r 136 or both! i guess i'll stop there.

I just need a quiet peaceful holiday.  I'll have my dogs and at least one of my daughters so I'm pretty much set. 

Please bring me peace and good health so I can continue to enjoy my existing trains for many years to come.

 

I have everything I need, and just about everything I want, but some scenery materials would be nice.

well I would love to have all the lionel and american flyer trains produced from 1948 to 1959 just as they were from the factory all shinny and new!

 

that way I could play with all I saw in the downtown department store displays in the toy departments.

As Allan and others noted above, even if you have already sat on his knee and pleaded for it, months ago, you still aren't going to get it in time for the holiday.

Perhaps you should have bawled, screamed, and kicked, creating as much of a scene as possible, on that chair in the middle of that shopping mall atrium, and maybe Santa would remember to bring it to you.

I have put my list of druthers on here on other threads, so won't waste the space.

I had much better luck at getting what I wanted, as a kid, than I have had in this

hobby, at least in regard to new manufactured items.  They are not made, planned,

nor even catalogued as teasers to be cancelled.

I want the Lionel Christmas, Polar Railroad cars and scale Polar Express diner to actually arrive before Christmas.

I am with Keith, it would be nice if the two scale Polar Express cars arrive BEFORE Christmas.

The MTH "Angus" and Lionel "Round-Roof" box cars that are on order and scheduled for shipment this month.

Completed benchwork topped with plywood and Quietbrace or Homasote.

A Lionel Legacy engine that works. Not a bash on Lionel, but my luck so far with Lionel Legacy is terrible. The Legacy unit itself was back for service right out of the box, the SD70ACe needed service right out of the box, ran 10 minutes after repair and needs to go back again for warranty work, and the Legacy Shay besides not pulling anything on the rated 031 curves, now has developed a smoke unit problem with less then an hour run time and won't smoke. I like what Lionel is doing with their Legacy engines, Santa would make me happy just if I could get one that runs.

Didn't take long to get a complaint, even in a "Christmas wish" thread. Some of you guys just never miss the opportunity.

I'm with Allan. Receiving any of my preorders before the big day would be great. If not, Happy New Year!  2013?  2014?

Since my wife has purchased a Legacy Engine for me for Christmas, though I am not supposed to know about it, my wish IS that it does work. It's no fun when the toys you buy don't work. If that complaint bothers you, tough. You should actually know someone before you call them out.

A new house with a garage and large basement for a layout!

As I said above, if my grandkids get to come for the holidays that is all I want.  

 

As to train gifts for me, I have to cool it and stay under the radar for a while, I bought both a second Legacy Northern and the MTH 999 this month and better cool it for a month or so..  And I have the Legacy N&W J and GS4 both pre-ordered - Lionel says both are shipping in February, which caught me by surprise (but delighted) so I figure they can be my next big acquisitions. 

 

My wife bought me a sweater for Christmas - I have dozens but that is what she does - buy sweaters for me -- so that, and a few books probably, will be it this year . . . 

What bothers me is that EVERY thread on this forum turns into bashing/complaining about trains that don't work. Take it up with Lionel/ MTH/whoever instead of moaning about it on here.  And just for the record, I'll "call out" anyone I feel like calling out. I don't know you, don't want to know you and if THAT bothers YOU... Tough.
