low nose gp-7 or 9
How about HIGH NOSE GP30 units for N&W and Southern Railway? Maybe even with fixed pilots?????
My wish/hope is that they make the NS NKP Heritage ES44 unit correctly, i.e. not as graphically cataloged!

I will second that!
- NC&StL streamstyled 4-8-4 "Dixie" (already done in HO brass a while back); this
should be on any L&N fan's list also (L&N bough the NC&StL, taking their slogan:
"The Dixie Line").
One "Dixie" remains (although the shrouding is long gone) in Centennial Park in Nashville.
Here she is with my car:
As for what I'd like to see, I'd love to see a Legacy Reading G-3.
APennsy T1,then an updated B6a perhaps.

It would be hard for me not to pass up for Southern 610.......I would have thought one would have been made by now. Still the Southern Ms-4 Class remains at the top of my must have list!
A Legacy or Vision PRR that will operate on 031 curves.
N&W Z1a. Yes I know they made a 2-6-6-2, but is wasn't a Z! "Almost" making one is worse than not doing it at all.

with the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Panama Canal coming up, it would be nice to see some equipment from the past 110 years. i would be more interested in the construction era (steam locomotives and shovels), but it would just take a different livery on a F40PH (i know MTH made one, not sure about Lionel) to do something modern...
after all, wasn't this actually the first transcontinental railroad?

A New York Central K5 Pacific, in both 3-Rail AND 2-Rail! In other works, a model that has NOT yet been produced for 3-Rail!
I would love to see a NYC K5...or:
I don't think this one has been made either.

A PRR K5 Pacific in 3 rail!...
As for what I'd like to see, I'd love to see a Legacy Reading G-3...
I can't argue with any of these suggestions. My own would be a Reading 2-8-0 -- in Conventional, of course.

No argument there, either.

Surprisingly, Sunset/3rd Rail announced the NYC H10a/H10b steam locomotive models about 2 or 3 years ago, and couldn't get enough reservations to produce them! I think the NYC Mike may still be on the "back burner" at Sunset/3rd Rail, so maybe if you write Scott Mann at Sunset Models, progress could be made on this future project.
I will second the Boston and Maine Alco HH660. If Big L made a B&M loco that hasn't been done previously and it comes Legacy equipped, I will invest in the Legacy system, too. How's about it, Big L???

Can one of you guys post a picture of the NYC K5?
Thanks in advance

One of the first diesel which Southern ran that help them decide to go diesel was St. Louis car company-Fairbank-Morse passager engine/motor car. One of them was named the "Georgia Cracker". It ran from Atlanta via Macon down to Brunswick Ga. It was built in 1939. It played a important role in the history of dieselization of the Southern which was one of the first railroads to go all diesel.
B & O "Big Six"
I'd like to see Lionel re-release the postwar Santa Fe alcos in the blue and yellow freight paint scheme, preferably in conventional rather than command control.
K-Line made an F40PH also, but Bachmann has control of it.

Here is the K5:
For the umpteenth time, a J3a with Legacy. I don't have a hudson and I don't want to "settle" for 2 chuffs puffer smoke and an oddyssey lurch
They've been going rereleasing all of the old steamers, so I can only hope... my patience is wearing thin
I'm afraid the day I grab an old one a Legacy version will be announced.
No "muddy" 75 year old tooling here:

This one gets my vote!
And, once again.....also for the "umpteenth time"...
A Santa Fe 1800 series 2-6-2 Prairie.
Alternatively, I'd settle for a 'Park Princess'....the 1050 series.
Ah, well, you asked...

A traditional size Reading & Northern #425.
What engine would I like to see Lionel make? Hmmm, lets see. How about one that’s reasonably priced, works flawlessly right out of the box and won’t be blown out three months after I buy it at 40% less than I paid.

Remake of the southern Mikado with more detail and legacy. Also a Berkshire with legacy like 765 or 2025.
Another I would like to see made is a Legacy Milwaukee Road 4-6-4 Baltic.
I know Weaver had one a couple of years ago, but I would like to have one with the latest Lagacy features and sound.
"Another I would like to see made is a Legacy Milwaukee Road 4-6-4 Baltic."
oh, that's a good one!
The most iconic steam locomotives:
1. New York Central J3a Hudson.
2. Union Pacific Jabelmann Challenger.
3. Pennsylvania T-1.
4. Norfolk and Western J.
All others are just also rans.
Erie 2524, the lost Korean loco.
Also wouldn't mind 2317 or other CN/CP locos
And how about DL&W 1939 World's Fair pocono?
Legacy scale GP7, Erie Lackawanna Cab Number 1278.
