What SD40-2s do you want to see MTH make?

I would like to see mth make the unique Conrail sd40-2 USCF unit #6373.

Only if they are 2/3 rail with fixed pilots available

Rock Island, Chicago & NorthWestern, Burlington Northern, and Norfolk and Western. 

The people at MTH would have to take the approach of making a new version of the SD40-2 that has railroad specific details in both HO Scale and O Scale first, then S scale and No. 1 Gauge.

They need the General Motors Diesel Division safety cabin with 4 windows option.

They need dynamic brake options.

There has to be distinct styles of grills.

Not all the headlight positions would be the same.

I would love to see a Genesee and Wyoming color scheme with optional decals for the smaller railroads under them.  I live in Meridian, MS and would love to have the SD40-2s we see in town all the time.

Yes, I know Lionel makes it but I pass on those due to too many visual discrepancies with it.

Here is a side picture of my MTH Norfolk-Southern & Conrail SD40-2 diesel engines. The Norfolk-Southern has the horsehead logo on the side of engine

They have to produce a new SD40-2 with a change in trucks and pilots that can be used with both 2-Rail and 3-Rail Scale operations.  

They have to be built without dynamic brakes for roads like Missouri Pacific and ex-MP units that were sold to Grand Trunk Western.

The Canadian National SD40-2Ws with the GMDD 4-window safety cabin, so they can produce the accurate model of CN 5334 in the EXPO '86 scheme.

I like your idea for a USCF Conrail version, although I don't think there are many who would appreciate it. I'm an old Cat 4 rider.  My brother was a Cat. 2 on the track.

B&O, Southern high hood, and NS. I have a CSX one on order with MTH.

If they made an all new SD40-2 with railroad specific details in HO, S, and O Scale, the high short-hood version of the SD40-2 would be possible.

Norfolk and Western had high short hood SD40-2s.
