Now that a I have a idea on how to attach my tables together - I find myself needing more advice. What type electric wire sockets are best to wire my roll out tables with (Fastrack) to my stationary tables with (Fastrack) ? 2 wire male and female disconnect type ? I spoke with a lot of people about connecting modules. I received a lot of info from club members at shows and here on the forum. most of the "O" scale clubs I saw used regular 110v connectors for their modules. this can get into a lot of $$$ but they work very well and considering how many times they are connected and disconnected they last a long time. I have always used ground bus bars from power panel boxes for connecting my wiring. I get them from Lowes, Home Depot, etc. I mount them on each module then connect with jumpers from one to the other.
I went to a modular layout once and they used flat trailer connectors.
I use a Jones plug and socket for my drop down, but I'm connecting 8 wires. For your 2 wire connections, I would do what recurverider said. Get a few extension cords with polarized plugs. Cut the wire a few feet from the plug and socket and solder them in.
