I saw a third party wheel puller on EBay that I'd like to identify. I remember seeing them offered for sale new, but I don't remember who had them. Does this look familiar to anyone?

Interesting design. The only problem I see is it would limited to a narrow range of driver diameters. I just looked up the company and while its still in business, they now make salt spreaders for pickups and dump trucks.

I remember trying to evaluate that puller when I first saw it. I thought there would be clearance problems for a lot of "O" gauge, postwar applications, which is the primary reason I didn't purchase one. It would probably work well for prewar standard gauge. Heck, I've even had to grind away some of the flare on the 1990's style Lionel ST-311 puller jaws.
STEW1957: Being that you were able to provide that picture, I assume you have one. Does it get much use? Is clearance an issue? Do you remember how old it is? And thanks for the photo!
I use it on Standard guage only. I got it from Jeff Kane maybe twenty years ago. It really spreads out the stress on the Standard guage wheel spokes as compared to the 311 wheel puller. It has always worked flawlessly.
Looks like it is made for certain limited applications, because it wouldn't fit on most locos.
Some parts dealers offer a "standard gauge wheel puller" that looks to me to be a faucet handle puller. I have one, I purchased it to remove a stubborn faucet handle. It works great! I haven't tried using it to pull standard gauge wheels yet.
Here is one from Lowes: faucet handle puller
The item shown in the initial posting is a Standard Gauge wheel puller which is offered by JJff Kane. I have one.
