Why a sample is way better than a picture with a color added? When I first saw the LCCA Prospector I thought;Ya it's OK but the color...... Not so much! Until I saw the actual sample!

Yeah Chris, that orange does pop on the sample. The metallic silver is sweet too. Very nice.
I was in from the first photo rendering, but the colors on the real sample are stunning.

It is a fantastic looking train, no doubt about it.

Most of the time it's hard to tell from a catalog picture what an actual model will look like tinplate or not but this one is a real looker!
I hope that the logo on the front of the loco "fits" better that the sample looks. It seems to be stuck on with just a bit of tacky tape in the center, and the ends do not follow the curve of the loco's "Shovel nose". Just my thoughts. Dennis M.
