I have been so satisfied with the Polar Berk, that I wanted a C & O Berk as well, but they sold out so quickly, I couldn't get one. I had a Northern that I was going to convert to DCC, but after running the Flyerchief Berk decided it was a waste of time, money and effort, as the Flyerchief will run on AC, DC and DCC. I love the flexibility.
The word I have heard, so far, is that they are due this month, any updates?

The shipping schedule on Lionel's website (http://www.lionel.com/shipping-schedule) still shows the estimated availability to be December 2016. One can only hope!

From your mouth to God's ear. I certainly hope so, as a few of us at North Penn S Gaugers have Polar Express's and only one can run at a time. That's the only drawback to Flyerchief, you can't have two of the exact (type, cab number) running at the same time.
Since my little Atlantic hasn't be upgraded to DCC although, it does have the slow turn motor, it leaves me with nothing to run at shows.
I have a NYC Northern on order. Hope it shows up during the Christmas holidays.

I heard from Charles Ro that the Northern's are expected in on 12-21-16. Cutting it very close for Christmas.
I was hoping for a little earlier, and my local hobby shop gets them about 2 weeks later.
Oh well, better then nothing.
I heard from my source at Lionel that the Northerns are to be at the Lionel warehouse in two weeks. Probably means they will be shipped after Christmas.
