Is there anything in writing on the use of the DCS trip-odometer. Unless I missed it somewhere, I searched the DCS instruction manual, engine manuals, and The DCS Companion and found nothing.

Thanks Joe, I was looking in the Table of Contents for the words Trip-Odometer. Table of contents says Reading Engine Information. Which makes it difficult to find. I really like books with an index of "key words" and what pages those words can be found on or a word search capability of a PDF file. The problem I'm having is in the DCS Companion on page 52 under "info", Barry states that by pressing the thumb wheel will refresh the above values, one of which is the Trip OD . That made me think that if I measured a route, pressing the thumb wheel would reset the trip-odometer back to zero. I tried pressing the thumb wheel while the trip miles were displayed and all it does is make the screen blink. So apparently the engine needs to be shut down and restarted to reset the meter. What is the refreshing function used for or why is it needed?
on page #97
"the trip odometer starts over at the beginning of every operating session for that engine"
refreshing is just to display the info as far as I know!
I just noticed the "Chrono" time is not ticking while it's being displayed, but if you press the thumb wheel it will update the time.
