Hope we can help hobby enthusiasts with a list of firms who can and will take on servicing these needs.

It will NOT happen on this forum. I tried, unsuccessfully, about a month ago to get a list of some sort going on here with names/places that have parts and perform repairs and was told that it was not going to happen on here. I even tried to get a section added to the "Scenery Source List" and was told that wasn't going to happen either. All of my posts about this topic have been closed or deleted. After several back and forth e-mails, I gave up and posted my parts/service requests in the "Wanted to Buy" section as I was directed to do.

OK....so Mr. DeSandro obviously is still upset about the email exchange (which by the way was very respectful and thankful to him) concerning this topic.  As a reminder, if anyone has a problem with our policies and procedures on this forum, we deal with that in our TOS.  Please review.

I suggested to Mr. DeSandro that many of our Sponsors and Advertisers might be able to help and we preferred folks to contact them first.  I honestly don't see anything wrong with that suggestion however I also mentioned that "service" is a product.  If contacting our advertisers doesn't work, then a post in the want to buy would be the alternative allowing members to contact the one in need of service/repairs directly via their profile email.

The Scenery Resource list https://ogrforum.com/...c/scenery-sourcelist is just that, mainly for scenery sources however there are tons of folks there that you could contact that would likely be able to help with service.

Finally, several of the top independent repair folks have been mentioned here in this thread, contact them!  AND, if they can't help, they perhaps know who can or who can't.

This thread, like others we have had similar to it, after over one thousand views and two pages,  has pretty much ended up as a discussion about the lack of service and looks like it has run its course.
