Which ERR cruise commander to choose? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hello all

I have a Lionel 6-18589 TMCC C-420 from around 2001 that has everything desirable (sounds, smoke, directional lights etc) except no Odyssey speed control. Never realized I wanted cruise until purchasing a LC+ GP7 & Century Club Baldwin sharks, and was impressed by how slow they could go.

So for the C-420, is the modular Commander “M” appropriate for me, or the standard cruise commander the correct one? I’m guessing the DC version of the AC/DC commander isn’t what I’m after.
