Hi GUYZ,

Welcome to Whistle Stop Wednesday Videos. This weeks featured engine is the MTH DAP Norfolk Southern F7 ABBA along with 10 NS Executive Passenger Cars. Only about 250 of these sets were produced back in 2007-08. It took a while for me to aquire all them. Hope you enjoy this video.

Thanks MARTY, yes the Executive Train comes down through Millersburg Junction every so often but it’s just the passenger cars, I see now.  About a year ago the 4270 AB unit went through.  Now I see them now and then on a siding down at the Rockville Bridge.  They last time the passenger cars were sitting there with a Genset.  Pretty cool.  Yes you did spot the OL MILS!!!!

Today you chose well. This one is an almost acceptable successor to the Powhatan Arrow, Pocahontas, and Cavalier.

MTH also came out with a pelvar blue N and W passenger set (hope I spelled it correctly). Do you have that one?

Like the return to “Whistle Stop Wednesday videos.” Thanks for making it happen.

Good luck on the rain. It seems like northern Virginia and Maryland have been getting plenty of it but not so much north and south. Fingers crossed for today.

Okay, blue N and W passenger set. I think that I rode on this train when I had to come home from Va Tech in 1966 due to my Grandfather’s death.

Yes, it has the anaconda tether

Will get a photo later today. It is on a shelf and may have been run once. We want to get all of our  N & W, N/S passenger trains out and run them all at once at some point. My guess is that we are 6-12 months away from that.

Blue set would make an interesting WSW run.
