I don't mind train spam, it's everything else!

I don't mind emails from folks I have requested them from.  I also make sure at least once a week I click on the banner ads for the sponsors that pertain to me on this forum and search their sites for things I may have to have!

We complain when they send us too many ads/ emails and we complain when an LHS closes. Maybe we just complain!

Charlie...I hope you continue to post your specials here on the forum....we always look forward to them.  As a advertiser on the forum, one of the benefits we extend to them is that they can post a thread offering their products directly on the forum ( other than on the for sale / trade forum which is for non-business members).

Charlie, the only thing I will object to is if you are trying to get me to help you launder some $100,000,000.00 through an operative in some 3rd world country.

I need at least $500,000,000.00 to be part of any such scheme.

And I don't mind dirty rope! 

I don't buy much anymore but don't mind the emails from Charlie or anyone else if I opted to get it, I can opt out if I want to. Of course almost anything train wise (toy or real) is cool to boot.
