Who Repairs marker lights on 1662 & 1663 switchers?

I have some damaged boiler fronts in the parts bin I rob the lights from, a dab of JB Weld and all is well.

  Yes, Dave has some good advice. JB Weld works very well. Clean/file the area as best as you can and snip off any of the excess/unneeded area of the replacement part.

  Being a Lionel purest of sorts, I doubt you would go for a non-original mod over repair, but others might, especially on beaters. The mod is "free" too.

  I took a different route on some engines. Taking a cue from the 655, if a boiler looses it's markers, I drill two holes in the face/door. It's the easiest way to add lighted class markers The lenses (not really needed) are Testor's canopy cement, great for making custom lenses and odd glass.

I like that, I've seen it done on some AF S engines and it looks pretty good.
