This weekend (September 27 and 28) is the annual Wichita Toy Train Club Train Show and Swap Meet in Wichita, KS.  It's being held in the Cessna Activity Center at 2744 George Washington Boulevard.  There will be a lot of tables (over 150 I believe) and layouts.  This will be the third outing of the modular layout owned by me and my friend Chris.  It consists of two 4x8 modules (one owned by me and one owned by Chris) and a middle section that's about 2x4.  The track is MTH Realtrax with O-42 curves and is basically a large loop.  Chris' module depicts a small city in Colorado called Thunder Valley with several buildings depicting the business district of the town.  It also has an operating trolley line.  My section depicts a very small country town in western Kansas called Twisterville.  It has a few small houses, an engine terminal, a depot, and a graveyard.  You can see our layout on the club's YouTube channel here: https://m.youtube.com/user/WichitaToyTrainClub

Our layout will be one of the first things you'll see as you enter the show (it is visible through windows in a wall at the area where you purchase your ticket to get in) and Chris and I will be happy to answer any questions you have about the layout while you're at the show (I'll answer any questions you have on this thread also).

The club's new modular layout will also be at the show, upstairs.  You can also see it on the club's YouTube Channel.
The club's S gauge layout will be located right next to my layout, also.

There will also be some HO and N scale layouts, and I wouldn't be surprised to find a Z or G scale layout at the show.

Many vendors will be attending the show, with a large selection of items ranging throughout most all of the scales.

A concession stand is also available at the show, and is where most visitors will eat lunch.

The show will run from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, and 11 AM to 4 PM on Sunday, so please stop by if you're in the area!  Admission is $6 for adults and kids 12 and under are free!  There should also be at least one raffle at the show, so you could win something new!
