When hitting the "+" button on the engine screen the speedometer all of sudden will fly to 120 mph.   This has happened on more than one MTH engine.   I did not update the last with version 6.10 because I don't have Lionel engines but now suspect there was more to this upgrade?   Would there be any other ideas on cause?

Thanks,

Joe

Joe,

If you have the basic or premium app, you can set a "max speed" and I always recommend someone do that.  If you are using the free app, that option is not available.

As far as the version goes, most of the time there are fixes that are not included in the "what's new" section of release notes.  As a result, if you are experiencing an problem, the first, best advice would be to get to the latest and greatest code.  6.1 includes far more than Lionel Legacy support.

You should definitely upgrade the TIU software to DCS 6.1. It's not just required for TMCC/Legacy operation.

If you aim for the "+" button and accidentally hit the speedometer, the engine will accelerate to the speed that you tapped. This is normal behavior.
