I've watched the Wi-Fi demonstration videos by several people (including MTH) but haven't seen the following covered:
1) Haven't seen anyone operating a TMCC loco with the Wi-Fi app.
2) Haven't seen anyone operate a conventional locomotive utilizing the variable voltage feature of VAR1 or VAR2.
If there *IS* a demo f this I'd like to see it.

Hi Ralph / I cover TMCC Locos but not conventional. In the viewer comments a viewer ask me a question about conventional and I gave him an answer.

@TrainRoomGary - Thanks. I found your YouTube video after I posted. I liked Mike Wolf's suggestion about picking up an old iPad cheap. Might consider.
I guess the next big hurdle is figuring out what kind of splitter/adapter cable(s) I need to hook this up since both the Wi-Fi hub and my TMCC unit both want to plug into the RS-232 port on my TIU.
The Wi-Fi hub is all USB and my TIU & TMCC are both DB9.

I'm sure I'll proceed with the Wi-Fi stuff but in the meantime...
It seems to me that after upgrading my TIU & remote to 6.0 that everything about my DCS setup is more stable, well behaved. Things were getting wacky - I was considering buying anpther TIU/remote but they both seem"happy" now.
