Does anyone know if MTH intends to upgrade their Wifi unit so it can run Lionel CC engines?

The full app is due in a month will run CC engines. Not an issue of hardware but with the app

Interesting question, but If you're going to use a cell phone to run your trains, BlueTrain works with both the Bluetooth-to-serial converter and the Legacy WiFi base. I have BlueTrain and the DCS WiFi app on my phone and they work fine. My plan is to get a couple of inexpensive tablets to run trains with.
Gary, someone is feeding you bad info. The beta testers will have it for a while before it gets out.
