Recently purchased a Menard's power plant. On just about the only spot where I could fit it was a light tower which now illuminates the building. In your opinion should I move the tower or let it stand where it is. I have no other space for the building. As they say, every vote counts. Thanks!

It looks fine.
Looks fine!
Don't overthink it. It's fine as is.
Looks just fine the way it is now.
Michael;
I can see your quandary. It does look a bit odd that close to the plant, not terrible, but definitely odd. I have one of the newer floodlight towers and it is secured to the layout with just a couple of screws. If yours is similarly attached, could you loosen the screws and rotate the tower, say 90 degrees toward the "front" in the video without disturbing the wiring???
Yep I agree, looks perfect.
You could put a switch in the power circuit of the light tower. Then you could look at it in either light, so to speak, or even change your mind as often as you wish.
I wish there was a way to see an overview of Your Layout Area? Is your layout Land Locked? From looking at the view, you have given us, its simply Fine. Enjoy your model Railroad.....I sold the Lionel Large Lift bridge do to space, and left off my Lionel Hellgate Bridge do to space, and the Lionel Madison Hobby Shop do to space....Therefore, if this building fits, that's Fantastic......Its a very nice model. Merry Christmas
I'm with the "looks fine, don't over-think it" crowd.
hello guys and gals....
If that's the only space you have for this building then it is fine right where it is

It looks good to me.
Unfortunately, I do not know what's behind the tower. Instead of aiming the lights at the building, what would you be lighting up if you turn the lights 180 degrees?
You could always shut the light off from time to time..............
I can't see what is 90 degrees to the right of the tower but you could always consider it a security light for the power plant. My other choice would be turn it 90 degrees to the right and light up that area. It looks like a coaling station behind it and it could be shinning there to give them light also after it gets dark. If anything I would change the angle of the light or leave as is as it does look fine to me
I think it is fine as is.
Hate to rain on the parade - try moving it to the other side of the building and aiming more at the front doors??????????
What is the light tower suppose to illuminate? If it's not serving its intended purpose then move it.
Like Bill suggests, just think of it as security lighting, which is pretty universal these days. If the overall effect is too glaring, use higher voltage bulbs or reduce the voltage fed to the tower. Dimming the tower will help show off the flashing red beacons.

MH,
Looks great just like it is, don't change a thing!

Yep, I agree with others - use for security lighting. Maybe aim them a bit lower.
The light tower does not bother me, but at the same time I might try moving it to the front left of the power plant as far as possible. It is also possible to dim the lights a bit with a diffuser. The power plant looks great there but the floodlight, not so much. Usually a floodlight is in a fairly open area. Bottom line: If you like it, that is all that matters.

Leave it.
