Let me know how the led switch over works.

I have some passenger cars I would like to switch over.

As it is the lights in the cars take more power than the engine.

The switchover went quite well considering I am electrically challenged and an old dog not fond of new tricks.  I am finding, however, that if I work methodically and pay attention to every step, I can do a lot.  I have added a sound board to the infamous 18003 Northern, added lamps and Miller Engineering signs to the layout, and now added LED strips to my new Williams GN passenger cars.

I have replaced all of my williams passenger car lights ( 22 cars)  with led replacement bulbs from town and country hobbies. The 1445 warm white bulbs work great and it is just a plug in and go no soldering or adding resistors.

Is there a trick to removing the body from the frame on the Williams aluminum passenger car?

Look at my post above - there is a screw under the coupler shaft that allows the truck to be removed.  Once removed, the floor will slide out the end of the aluminum shell.
