Hello,

Does anyone know who the Williams dealers are that have lots of stock, particularly older stock?

I would like to find a B-unit for my new Williams F-3 Texas Special A-A pair.

Haven't found any with a Google search, or on eBay.

I know that all the dealers are at York this week, so waiting until next week is probably a better bet. Too bad I am not at York myself.

Thanks

I may be mistaken, but that sounds like Marty from Ma & Pa Junction. If so, he's been out of business for several years.  Great Williams dealer. Bought lots of stuff from him.

According to the Western Depot's site (just looked), they have one remaining B-unit in the Texas Special scheme. Just click the banner in the ad section here on OGR (refresh page if you don't see it, should show up when ads rotate), go to the O Gauge section of their site, go to the Williams by Bachmann link, click on Williams Diesel Locomotives, and select the Williams EMD F3 option.

Roy - some things to consider (that I'm sure you are aware of) is that the units shown on Amazon are MTH Premiere Scale B units rather than the traditional sized Williams or Lionel ones.

Also, the older Williams Texas Specials had a dull finish that your new ones may not have.

The Texas Specials look best with a high gloss finish!
