For years my Williams FM made a clicking sound when coming out of a curve on either Gargraves or Atlas track. Being "swift on the uptake" I finally traced the sound to the inside wheel sets catching the rail when the truck straightens out. Since these wheels are basically for looks, I cut up an old credit card and used a narrow piece to shim the wheel up slightly. Now no more clicking sounds==just the "raw power" of the old FM--a powerful locomotive which was ahead of its time!
