Did Williams trains ever make a production Gray unshrouded New York Central hudson? I reciently  picked up an older Williams brass Hudson. The Gray finish looks original and the lettering looks like silk screen not decals. The tender has a realistic coal load, diecast trucks and a solid state reverse unit. There is no sound system. This hudson looks like the Williams  #4000 black model produced in the mid 1980's.It looks similar to the Lionel 763E.

Thanks for the replies.I don't have a working  digital camera but my Williams  gray Hudson has No.763-E ,NYC LINES under the side cab windows. It has a hole pattern for a speaker under the tender. It has no smoke unit but has an opening smoke box door, working head lamp,a relatively glossy finish and it does run  smooth for an older locomotive.I was curious when this engine was made since I cannot find any documentation on it.
