Yes the Wbb are a similar size. The Wbb unit has more detail with separate grabs and metal horns and brake wheel. Its really the former K-line rs3. I recently took delivery of a used weaver rs3 conventional. The WBB is slightly lover in height only by the configuration of the trucks.  The weaver unit is the more recent production with the dual motors so these units can fairly be compared.

  • Manually activated couplers

  • Molded in Tread plating on deck

 WBB offers a bit more for the Street Price of $260-$299 range:

WBB trucks show expose roller bearing ends

WBB has horn and diesel sound

WBB has separate wire grab rails and a metal horn and Brake wheel

WBB has molded Air lines on the pilots 

WBB has cab windows that open slightly

WBB Highlights window glazing

 

Weaver Models offers:

  • More accurate DLGE paint
  • More common Water cooled Turbo exhaust stack
  • More scale width hood and fuel tank
  • Better fuel tank detail relief than WBB
