The regional Piedmont Garden RR Club was asked to assist with a new display at the NC Arboretum near Asheville. They are having 'Winter Lights' and wanted to incorporate an outdoor RR. We accepted their request and helped build this marvelous RR. The staff did wonders with rock and gravel plus some nice plants. A patron had donated a bunch of large scale equipment that they wanted us to use. One of the staff worked in metal and built several very nice trestles.
The display opened a few weeks ago and I was able to help run the trains Tuesday evening. I have a video but don't know how to get if from my iPhone yet to post it.
