I have a yard with 3 scratch built double slip switches that have insolated frogs on each side. I have no problem wiring the frogs for two of the possible routes but for the other two routes the polarity has to be reversed. An individual Tortis switch machine throws the 4 switch points on each side. The single pole double throw contact points on the switch machine currently control one frog.  The second set of contact points control the layout tract board route lights.

1.  I believe you would get a better response by posting this on the 2 rail forum here.

 

2.  Having done a number of slips a few years ago, as I recall the trick is to have the Tortise on the right drive the frog on the left, and vice versa.  Each slip is done independently of the other.
