Lots of questions "sorry no directions" . I want to have two fast track switches wired together so that both change at once. I also need the wiring configuration for doing this using track power. Also which of the wires are necessary to operate the switch using track power. Do I have to use the Lionel controller?

Not sure about the non-derailing feature...
But you can connect the green, red, and black, terminals of each together and then shorting the green or the red to the black will switch the switch. Use only one of the switches' yellow wires if you are going to use the Lionel controller.
You can also use the yellow wire to directly drive a bi-color LED for each switch if you don't use the Lionel control, wire the LED between the yellow and black wires with a 220 ohm resistor. This way you can have the indicator for both switches independently. That's in case something goes wrong like something is sitting on one switch!
