Wiring help for 3356 Horse Car Set.

The OTC contactor for the car shoe has only 1 wire connected to it.  The key is that the common for the corral car comes back on the outside rail and must be connected to the transformer to complete the circuit.

Hope things are well your way. Here in Brianel land, smallest layout I've ever had and fewer trains to boot, but sometimes less is more.

Don, if the horsies are jumping around too much there is an adjusting screw on the bottom of the coral.  Try adjusting the vibration intensity.  Also you might need to lower the voltage at the transformer.

I will look for and try adjusting the screw on the corral and experiment with the transformer voltage. I purchased some of the newst reproduction horses from the Lionel website. I understand they are making them with the "soft" rubber again. I'll also pick up some of the original post war 3356-100 horses. I appreciate your good advice.

That's fantastic. Much better then the original, one sheet of instructions. When I get it up and running on the layout, I'll attach a picture or video.
