I need to know if are existing drawings for Whitcomb switcher of US Army Trasportation Corps model 65 DE 19A This for elaboration in Italian type Ne120 Regards from Italy
Railroad Model Craftsman August 1982 featured an article on the Columbus & Greenville's No. 42 which includes drawings to HO scale. I had an O scale version built using these drawings. Their wartime service is also covered in Vol 2 of United States Army Transportation Corps Locomotives by R Tourret published in 1977 by Tourret Publishing of the UK.
The Kingston trolley museum in Kingston New York has an ex US Army Whitcomb engine. It is the ex South Brooklyn Railroad engine number 9. If you contact them they may be able to help you.
