WIU ?

I suspect but can't verify at this time that you could probably default it using the LUCi web interface.  I don't see anything in the instructions though.  At minimal you could use the LUCi to reset all the SSID and password back to the default MTH if it was changed.

The LUCi is the web interface to update firmware and change some of the parameters in the WIU.  It's all in the full manual for the WIU.  If you bought the unit new and never accessed the WIU via the web interface then I would suspect there is nothing that needs to be done before it is sold as the MTH default values were not changed.

eSSID is the identifier for a wireless network.

LuCi is the MTH Web interface.

Thanks Barry.  Wasn't sure if there was a reset but after a second look I see it now.  Is the part about holding it 20 seconds in the manual?

Yes.  Preferably non-conductive like a wooden or plastic tooth pick.  While it's unlikely you'll short anything, why take the chance.
