Whats been buried under my piles on the workbench....

2 things that I have been putting off for awhile. A third ACF heavyweight Burlington RPO/Baggage car; my favorite RPO by far. Just love the ends on these cars and Oriental Limited did a magnificent job with these models in my "opinion". This is the third installment for me on these cars; and these things are RARE! .... I just shipped off the first one I did to a guy in Lincoln, NE from a customers consignment  collection at Caboose Hobbies. I did that car back in 2006; paintwork was marginal, trucks terrible (needs Roger's beauties). The second one was built for a friend in Minnesota and now this car. As you guys know I am a Burlington and anything West fan so its a must!

I just love this car despite the fact it isn't perfect. Roger Lewis's masterful Wasatch trucks are the crowning end to a fine piece of art.

This guy was a long awaited treasure to get my hands on.. W.A. Drake AKA: my friend Bill McClung imported these from Wusung Brass (WBM)  incredible cars. Still a 3 dome tank is a rare thing these days in O scale regardless of vintage or quality.

I bought a G scale Burlington SD40-2 back when I didn't care what road I got. One grandson preferred it for some time. I always had to run that engine for him even when it was off the layout. It wore off for him and now he wants the UP challenger.

To this day, anything that says Burlington comes up as a favorite to me. I almost bought a set of silver E8s because of that. As soon as I saw the name on your RPO car, I got that same excitement level.

Funny the effect he had on me. I still like it, he's moved on! Just rambling.....
