Like everyone else, I eagerly anticipated the WTIU. I was also very much encouraged by Wolf’s demos at various dealers and took the time to watch two of them. I had some reservations about purchasing a new item like this on the first round, but did anyway. My WIU/TIU works very well, however my WTIU sits on my bench due to the multiple AIU issue.
I understand that issues will always arise with new products such as the WTIU. I am most disappointed by MTH’s silence. I’ve attempted to communicate with them via email to no avail. A note to the dealers or a post here would’ve been wonderful. I have read one post where a contributor stated MTH was aware of the multiple AIU issue and was working on a fix, but nothing from MTH acknowledging at least this issue. Unless I’ve missed it (if so I certainly apologize) there has been nothing.
