Joe,  Amazing how you find a youtube video of something I lived next too.  That area in Ridgefield Park, NJ was my backyard.  I used live right on Bergen Turnpike a stones throw away,  well exaggerated but just down the street.  I still own the apartment but its facing the empire state building and you can't hear any of the noises.  I remember seeing stuff there or go through on the CSX river line almost on a daily basis.

Those are quite impressive, but still not a scratch on my favourite Russian locomotive (The 3TE-10) starting up.

But they can, all of the sudden it sounds like the second unit is doing all of the work!

I guess Russians dont know how to tune there diesels ,,WOW and we wonder why we got polution..Those are worse then steam engine...
