Does anyone know if York open to the public this year on Saturday?

I would assume the vendor halls will be. Haven't heard a word to the contrary.
The April 2018 York Train Show will be held April 19-21 at the York Fairgrounds. All TCA members will receive the show materials from the Eastern Division. You can pre-register or register at the door, at a higher rate.
The general public is invited to this train show, but will only be permitted to enter the Dealer Halls. The remaining halls are for TCA MEMBERS ONLY.
Thank you...would that be Saturday and Sunday only for the general public like last year?
I believe it’s only Friday and Saturday in the dealer halls. Not open on Sunday. Why not think about joining TCA.
Lol. Check your spelling on your post title! One letter can cause a problem. Ha!
What's in the halls that are only open to TCA members?
We'd tell you, but then we would have to kill you.
Seriously, The rest of the halls are for sales supposedly between members instead of retailers. This is how the state is satisfied when it comes to the application of sales tax. There are some really neat things to see in those halls, so why not join up?

Members who do not run businesses (for the most part at least - a few may actually be dealers in some shape or form) and therefore do not need a resale sales tax number in order to sell to other members or people who are one time guests of other members.
If you are talking content, I'll just say that even some well known dealers send scouts out to the member halls to try to obtain older items, probably items their customers have asked them to try to obtain for them.
I've sold at least one or 2 small items to a large dealer who has a booth in the Orange hall.
So if you are looking for an item from several (or more) years ago, you may just find one in the member halls and not the dealer halls.
