Interesting!
I will probably be going to the 1st Inf. Div. reunion this year in Chicago and that looks like an interesting side trip. I had never before heard of the place. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for sharing, Chris. How'd you hear about this?
That is just amazing. The craftsmanship back then was superb.
Thanks for sharing the video it was enjoyable to watch.
Sad that he can't fire his steam engines up. There's got to be a way around this.

I am subscribed to “Toy man television” on YouTube and tripped over this one. He has alot of interesting videos on trains, cars and other interesting places.
Just watched this. I'm amazed...I lived out there for 12 years, about 15 minutes from this area, and never heard of the place. Wished I had known about it!! Would've been fascinating to see in person.
Wish I did too! We were in Chicago 5 years ago when my son graduated boot camp for the Navy. I would have liked to check that out before we got back on the train to Boston.
Here is a link if anyone is interested in checking out the channel.

Went there years ago for rialtofest. Cool house. It has what is or was the largest theatre pipe organ. Highly recommend.
It is not open to the public. It is a private collection. Every now and then they have charity events there.
