Last week YouTube updated their Terms of Service for the Partner Program to make room for sharing revenue earned from a paid subscription program. YT has not yet stated, exactly what it will look like, it has several implications for Model Train Creators.

If you are a Model Train Creator or viewer, you will need to understand this program.

This video will explain the new program that will start June 15th., 2015

You Tube will be selling subscriptions, just like your cable TV Company. It will cost about $10.00 per month, for this price there will be no commercials. The YT creators will be paid from the subscription fees and those who keep the present plan, the creators will get paid from the commercials.

The YT payment plan is about $2.50 to $5.00 per 1000 views.

This video below will give all the facts, as it stands today.

My channel link is in my signature..... Good Luck

I know it's not model trains.....It's model cars.

But it was the equal to York and then some in our hobby and I was a primary promoter for the year 1990. I still get comments on this show. And the fact we got TV coverage was great. Some of the folks interviewed were the Mike Wolf or Mr Cowen. It was a great event that was much bigger than the TV report showed...but you get the idea.
