I have a Z-4000 transformer which has always operated fine. I am currently building a new train layout. The layout measures 20’6” x 8’6” and is a shelf type layout. I test ran some trains a couple of weeks ago and everything was fine. I went down today and was tinkering with the lift section. I put the track back in place, fired up the transformer and the trouble began. No matter which locomotive I ran the horns or whistles would sound non-stop. No matter if it was one of my Post War locomotives or one of my newer MTH Proto 3.0 locomotives. Any suggestions will help. Thanks, Cobrabob.
