Z-stuff data wire driver not working in conjunction with Lionel wifi | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

My z-stuff data wire driver quit soon after installing Lionel's new wifi system. I had the date wire driver plugged into the back of the legacy base, and then the wifi module plugged into the back of the data wire driver via the 9 pin serial port. It worked when I first did the setup. Now i can't get my switches to throw from the legacy remote. I tried unplugging the wifi module from the back of the data wire driver, and that didn't fix anything. Also tried to reprogram the dz2500 switch machines and that also wouldn't work. I made sure all the connections were good for the power to the data wire driver. Anyone else have a setup like this or experience similar issues? Thanks

The WiFi or other LCS device needs to be first. You need a SER2 to drive your switch machines.

Yes according to the Z-Stuff guy you need a SER2 connected as Marty says.
