I recently put a Z-Stuff Semaphore on my layout. Real neat little sucker, love the "boom" swinging up and down and the lights. While I was running trains, I noticed the semaphore began to slow down dramatically over the hour or so I was running, in some cases, not being able to raise from Green, to Yellow, and so on. The loop it is on is rather small, so it gets activated very frequently. I'm hoping the motor isn't starting to totally wear out but am curious how long the motor life in something like this is? If the motor life isn't very long, I'll move it to "protect" a siding that doesn't see much action so I can still enjoy it but not wear it out so fast.

It is near impossible to get Z Stuff on the phone and when they do, they aren't interested or don't know. I wanted to ask those who have them on their layout.

Hi Dennis.
I just sent and E mail to AOL and it came back..
Anyway, my question was as to when you think the (DZ-1030) Wig Wag
signals may be back in stock ? Wesite just say's backordered...
Thanks
Bruce..
There was an O-scale club that had a modular layout at the Plano train show last year. They had several Z-Stuff semaphores on the layout and they were working like champs, over and over again, activated optically.
Thanks for the response Dennis. My end said the E-mail came back.
Oh well, More high tec glitches. Will be waiting with bated breath.
You are right Number 90. I have the crossing gates, semaphores, Trolley
module. All are great products.
The sensors on the semaphores is a great idea. Just kind of a plug and
play thing if you want it for looks only....
