Z4000 Voltage problem

Don't know the cause. We had a couple go squirrelly on us at the club. We're replacing one of them with a pair of bricks since the zones it covers are command controlled anyway.

I had a problem shown by this video which required an internal adjustment,

Was told that no parts were involved for the fix.

A throttle mechanism adjustment was made.

This was a brand new Z-4000 and has worked since with no problems.

My sense would be that the pot that controls that side's voltage has a problem.  It could also be a loose linkage to the pot that shows up in that part of the travel.

Charlie, I think that if you were to scroll the voltage back to zero before you shut off the transformer, you will not have any problems. It acts as though the handles are up when you leave the voltage at 7 before you shut it down.  Joe
