Looking over the Owner's manual for the new ZW-L raises a question possibly someone can answer for me.

I run 4 independent loops on the old layout and had been using my dad's post-war ZW to power each loop.  Since I'm adding newer scale locomotives and re-building the loops I was interested in the new ZW for better power and protection.  The Manual recommends the inner (B & C) throttles for accesory operation since they are only conventional voltage control, but doesn't explicitly say not to run trains.

Since I'd be running conventional locomotives on two of the loops is there any argument against using those throttles?

If you are going to run conventional trains via TMCC or Legacy then you can use any of the 4 handles.

If you are going to run strictly conventional, there is no way to sound the bell and horn on the inner handles.

All 4 handles are able to be controlled from the Legacy remote and can vary the voltage up and down.  All 4 handles can blow the horn and ring the bell from the TMCC or Legacy remote whether conventional or command.
