Wow! Thanks for posting! This was very interesting to watch! I'm sure if this were over here in the US they would NEVER drop it due to rigging requirements.... but then accidents do happen! Even I would be standing there saying "how about we double up on the rigging guys?".
Hope they saved their tracking number!

Couldn't resist bringing this thread back to life...
I always thought Lionel's shipping schedule was a bit archaic in its use of the phrase, "This item has been dropped.", to denote items whose production was cancelled after the catalog was printed.
Gotta admit... this video gives a whole new meaning to the phrase!!!
Granted, Lionel's online shipping schedule has a lot more serious problems to work through these days. But perhaps this video will encourage someone at Lionel to list canceled items more appropriately as, well... "This item has been canceled."

I love it how amateur videographers ALWAYS jerk the camera away from the action at just the right moment. 
I hope they had insurance. I would not want to pay the next premium invoice.
