As much as I like to run the trains, I need the shop, and Christmas is over. Christmas is the one time a year I get to move the equipment out and put up a full layout/garden. Otherwise, it is just me and the grandson and the rug! And he is getting tired of trains I think. Too much competition from video and games, etc. And he is only 7!
Thanks for the compliment on the layout, I am out there now taking the track off of the boards. But....I may experiment with some track plans in the next week before I have to take the boards out. (and the guys that I play/jam with once a week have been after me to get the end of the shop back so we can meet. Have not played since Thanksgiving and they are antsy. I just move the machines to one end and we have fun one night a week. I play lead guitar. I need a BIG garage...with a big upstairs!)

By the way, why are you taking down that very nice layout?
