Andrew87,
Unfortunately not, but I sure am hoping for some new 048 Command Control FT switches in the near future.

Purchase a used remote switch if cost is the issue. A powered remote switch with no controller connected, used in a reverse loop, will provide power assisted non-derail and the train will easily push through the switch and set the alignment for the next pass, if that is the intended use.
Andrew yes you can. I have done that with mine and works well so far.
How large of a locomotive or freight car are you trying to squeeze through an o36 switch?
I use a lot of o36 manual switches in my yard area and some pretty long freight cars that get pushed through them.
You could also buy a used O48 switch and swap out the lamp with a replacement switch stand from an O36 switch, AFAIK.
