Stick with your new year's resolution by stopping by Jimbo's Gym! Shop now >

You find them everywhere - in shopping centers, renovated storefronts, and stand-alone buildings in a high-tech office park. Gymnasiums and fitness centers are home base for personal improvement by way of exercise, conditioning routines, and plenty of sweat! You can now add one of these unique structures to your layout.

The basics: This fully assembled and decorated structure includes tables, chairs, patrons, as well as mats, treadmills, and weight lifting stations. Both levels include brilliant overhead lighting. The gym has a modest footprint at 10-1/2" x 5-7/8" with a height of 7-1/4".

Why you need this: JimBo’s Gym is a modern architectural marvel. The building has modern architectural styling with three walls of brick, while the front features lots of glass in large panes with patrons and exercise gear catching the eye of the passersby.

High up above, HVAC equipment is placed on the roof. There is also a raised skylight in the center of the rooftop. The entrance features a flower box with a dynamic icon of a fist clinching a weight! Jack relaxes nearby, very happy he already gets all the exercise he needs.

The bi-level construction features windows on the front and right sides. This offers potential customers and the curious to preview the establishment’s features and exercise gear!

The ground floor features a coffee shop for that shot of extra caffeine before you start your exercise routine. A barista is standing by with a wide range of cups, pastries, and espresso equipment to serve patrons seated nearby. You can probably get a smoothie on the way home, a reward for your diligent work!

The second level is where the fitness magic happens! The rear wall features a mirror to enable guests to evaluate their style when working through their exercise regimen. You can almost hear the thump of exercise music.

To the left are women by their yoga mats. Colorful medicine balls are placed nearby. There are three treadmills in the center of the front window. An energetic man is going for his personal best! Near the two red exercise or weight stations facing the rear, are the treadmills. The rear mirror adds considerable depth to the second-floor scene!

Taking a look at the back, you’ll notice an access panel that is held on by screws. This panel allows you to get inside the building to add or remove figures!

JimBo’s Gym represents a staple of a contemporary community. It has a modern look and visually catches attention with the colorful interior.

This building reminds me of the gym.  When I go during the day, they're serenading the 70+ year olds with AC/DC music when they should probably be playing 50's/60's music.  Seems a little modern and out of touch to me.

Angus is 68, Malcolm would have been 70,  Brian is 76, and Bon would have been 78 this year. Seems they are playing the correct music for the generation .

Great looking building, I like it. Putting it in between my MTH McDonald’s and Menards Arby’s restaurant is the perfect spot!

Your comment reminds me of where we used to live in Stroudsburg, PA.  There was a YMCA downtown.  To get to/from  the parking lot, you used the side door.  If you came out of side door and walked 20 feet, you were at the entrance of Dunkin Donuts.    Burn off the calories and then put them back on.

I definitely plan on getting the gym, and I also have the MTH McDonalds and Menards Arby's.  Now I know where to put the gym.
