Hello everyone,

During this coronavirus thing i dug out a bunch of switches that i had thrown into a pile. Some work some dont.

I have an 022 switch i could use some help with. I took it apart to clean and lube. As i was putting it back together i found a spring ( lock spring ) that came loose and for the life of me i can't figure out where it goes. Lionel is no help they don't have a parts diagram. Does anyone out there have one or maybe a link to one? Heck ill even settle for a picture of the location. 😉 any help would be appreciated. I did run a search but couldn't find what i needed.

No parts diagram? Lionel certainly did publish service documents for the O22 back in the day. Olsen's kindly hosts them:

You can see the lock spring holds down the lock hinge in the switch machine.
