I just placed an order earlier today for several cars. Now more new releases. Whew!
Just what I see, I know an order is coming your way.
Looks like another winner! With all these new releases I wonder what they will have in the stores next Christmas season?

I'm building a military train to defend my platform. It looks as if Menards will be my prime supplier in that effort.
This is looking good!
Need some soldiers to go alone with it. I have yet to find ANY O-Scale soldiers. Anybody got a source?

That looks interesting, 2 1/2 ton ?

Thanks.

This one definitely has me excited. One look and I was sold. It's Christmas year-round now thanks to all of these releases!
I would like to find some model soldiers to put in my Railking Army Passenger cars. Is anyone else interested or no of anyone that makes them?
The Tamiya model sets of US or German or Russian soldiers in 1/48 are the only routinely available sets I know of. They are all in battlefield poses and don't work too well of train layouts. From time to time I see soldier and sailor figures, etc., from Preisser if I recall, or the occasional Arttisa figure, that are more like soldiers waiting at a train station, etc., available on the bay or M. B. Klein's website, etc., but this is only from time to time.

At least at $20 to $25 they are a little more pocket book friendly!
Just checked their website and here's the new offering. New style flatcar or way they add load! Gotta like the trailer!

WOW, no brainer, will be placing an order for that one.

I agree •WOW • I will check at my Livonia store or check for it on line.

Mark,
This car looks great! Is the Deuce and Half 1:48?
thanks very much
Is the truck O scale or S scale? Looks small to me.
The dimensions of this truck are 5"L x 1.75"W x 1.5"T.
While the actual scale is open to interpretation, my opinion is that this is much closer to O scale than it is S scale.
Thank you,

Wow, fantastic. I needed some deuce and a half trucks. The fuel trailer is extra cool. More flatcars never hurt anyone, either. I just ordered three.
I do hope Menards comes out with a big-enough-to-pass for-scale 8,000 or so gallon tank car soon. I need a lot of those.
looks like i'm going to buy at least 1 of those trucks. that is exactly what my dad drove at the invasion of Anzio loaded with jerry cans of gasoline.
Looks great. Is there anything to be read into the absence of a mention of the couplers being the upgraded ones? And though O-36 is recommended, what is the minimum needed? Thanks
My hats off to you Menards. I have been wanting a car with a deuce and half WWII for some time. This one is perfect. I have already placed my order for one to go with my WWII Military Train. My father, who is deceased, was assigned to the 418 Engineer Dump Truck Company. He was at the Battle of The Bulge. I remember him talking about his unit hauling supplies to the front lines and how cold it was. My Mother told how he had told her about being pinned down in a fox hole for three day and three nights from German machine gun fire. This car will have more meaning than you will ever understand. Thanks so much. Keep them coming.

Chris,
Yep, these do have our premium metal wheels and couplers. As far as the curves go, we've tested this new design and found they work best on O-36 curves.

Am I missing something? On one page the flat car with deuce and a half is priced at $24.99 , then go to order it and the price jumps to $39.99. Is there a trick to ordering this?
No trick, the only price I saw was 39.99. I guess with the wooden deck detail and maybe a different flatcar there are 12 stake pockets on this one versus 10 on their other flatcars. I'm gonna wait and see when someone gets theirs.
franktrain
Bought it!
This looks like new tooling on the flatcar. It looks much wider (scale width?) than their original flatcars--look at how the trucks are set in from the sides of the carbody.

I wish these were scale

Sam,
Here is the correct banner. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

HOW LONG TO SHIP THESE ITEMS?
Gentlemen,
I have one on order and a couple of Army Box Cars also, to add to my SF Train.
They do look great. Ordered mine the 1st day they were advertised, I questioned the processing cost, seems these Cars are bing delivered directly from the sub contractor also. Don I am wondering about the delivery dates also, still do not have mine.
PCRR/Dave
I have been assured that these have shipped and are on their way. I'm anxious to see what everyone thinks of them!
