Boeing Vertol Plant?
Maybe for a radio/news station? We got to have broadcasts and reporting for the shenanigans in Trainville.
Dave
Are we ever going to find out what it is?
I never believed in black helicopters, then I saw one land on the LAPD police copter building across from my office at the Federal building in LA. I said to an officer, Look at that, LAPD has a black helicopter, He said not LAPD it is ours, gulp.
Its nickname is Swamp gas.
How about Airwolf?
Vetter Sash & Door Company was released on 03/13/2018. That's three months. I don't know how much longer I can go with out my Menards building fix! It's time to release this item, or I may have to use my addiction funds to take up golf again!
CABINET BOB,
Does that mean this is a police building or is the asking price a little high?

Appears his reply was deleted. I was wondering what that meant too!
Look people, when you see black choppers, it's NOT good news. Black ops works in the shadows and at night.
Eventually the operation may or may not prevail but something does come out of it... Think apprehension of Osama Bin Hiding!
Introducing One Police Plaza!
One Police Plaza is prebuilt, prelit and ready to protect and serve your train layout! This brick-clad municipal building features an animated helicopter with rotating rotor blades! Underneath the helicopter lies a helipad with blinking red and white LED lights that are sure to catch anyone’s eye. And, completing the rooftop scene are two police officers and four red LED lights in the corners of the roof.
The ground level is also alive with excitement and prelit from above by 16 LED lights. The sidewalk is populated by four police officers and Jack the German Shepherd, who is currently in training to become the newest member of the force. Additional details include columns, planters and greenery to complement this impressive building!

Ordered mine 5 hours ago. Saw it on Menards web page.
Not too shabby. If I was into the modern era I'd order it in a heart beat. Nice job Menards.
Very nice. Good job on the address too. NYPD HQ is One Police Plaza.
Really Nice! Now where can I find a 1:48 scale "Blue Thunder?"
Also, does anyone know where I can find a sound board with the helo turbine start up sounds?
Catch you later! (Click,click)
I like it! It's too large of a police station for my town so I my order will be converted to a hospital. Keep them coming!
WOW! I want one ! Might have to wait on paint. Lol
I AM GOING TO BUY ONE OF THESE. However, (you knew that was coming) better mullions than on the other buildings without mullions but you should have lined up the mullions with the columns below and then added a mullion in-between. the columns will be running up to the top of the building so having a mullion at the column is a cleaner design and helps with the interior spaces.
Menards should consider asking an architect or structural engineer to give a view of the buildings. There are plenty of us on the Forum who would do this for FREE.
Otherwise, I think as much as I like local law officers they dont deserve a whole dedicated building on my layout. I will modify this as a city civic center with a police station at the bottom floor. I will keep the helicopter though.
Beautiful building! Gotta have one! Reminds me of my youth! LOL

What the time in jail? Or ride alongs?
Need an Airwolf chopper.
Hmmmm.... I’m thinking of adding a transmission tower to the roof and plastering the Channel 4 logo on the chopper and making it a tv station.
You stay classy Menardsville!

I agree, it is always for the benefit of the country, at least the law enforcement side, even when we do not agree we have to follow the chain of command, there is a reason. ( I can neither confirm or deny the existence of black helicopters and other really cool stuff.)
OK, I am in for this one. I will have to do a Tim the Toolman upgrade on the rotor motor, Maybe a dremel motor , we need a good one with 0 to 10,000 RPMs in .000075 of a second, that bird will fly building and all. Do you think the warranty will be ok?
Nice product - keep'em coming
Just ordered one for our club.😁
IMO - This is the best Menard’s building yet. It is going to be very difficult to top this in the future.
That is ridiculously awesome!!
I have one more spot for a building and this will be it. It looks great.

Maybe hhhmmmmm O yea,...AN REA BUILDING!...they ever do that beer brewery?
Trying to make space on my layout for this one, this a home run!
Next Menard's version of this building will be a hospital........

Bryan, I knew you would get that. You can't have one without the other. .....Paul
Well that thought of a brewery with it's own helicopter was a little on the far side I guess. That's a nice offering but way to modern for my layout. BTW Mark at Menard's, I still have that space available for a brewery.
