Mark, I'm gonna Kill you!
I think it is a another military viechle because the wheel
My guess too would be a military vehicle, maybe a hum V or something similar due to the wheel feature. Also the tire looks like a NDCC(non directional cross country) tire from the US military.

I think Mark is just trying to throw us off It is a boxcar series with graphics of WWII era vehicles on the sides.
From the color of the fender behind the wheel it has to be military. Still trying to figure out what the tire is resting on. Looks like a flat car but then again maybe not. Teasers, can't live with them, can't live without them.......Waiting for more buildings, tank cars (single dome) and grain hopper cars. But whatever it is going to be it is going to be another winner.......................Paul
Thanks to you Mark, I have to start another Military train! Thanks!
Izuzu Box Trucks !!!!!!
Military truck cabs to pull the previously released military tankers on flatcars
Well.. tonite will be a sleepless one... Thanks a lot Mark !!!
Thanks Mark, I just got on the wife's good side. Now your going to make me go to the dark side again! LOL
Good stuff. Looking forward to the surprise tomorrow!!
"Rat Patrol" Jeeps. Real Jeeps, ones that look alike a Jeep!
Or a 4x6 DOD/Army truck!
Yes we now it is a military vehicle on a flat, what ever it is, I hope it is somewhat scale and on a somewhat scale flat, not the small 027 type traditional flat cars, here is hoping.
I think it is jeeps. Jeeps on flat cars would be awesome. And the military train grows. BigRail
It could a Railway Express Agency truck on a loading dock.
Andrew
Hopefully 8 lug split rim rules out Jeeps. Deuce and a half or 5 ton is my guess.....

Clipper buses, like this model, were first produced in the late 1930s by the Flxible Company. Widely popular until the early 1970s, their design continued to change with the times while maintaining a distinctive streamlined look.
Beginning in 1941, clipper buses were equipped with a scoop to keep the engine cool. This prominent feature can be seen near the back of the bus (on the roof). Maintaining the same appearance throughout most of the 1940s, this particular clipper bus style was a popular one. In fact, it remained unchanged even while WWII was underway. After the war ended, Flxible continued to sell buses very similar to those used before the war due to their timeless design.

I did 17 years in the Navy but I can't resist a lot of these
Now, you could borrow something from Die Cast Direct. Have a bus and flat for multiple Army Forts. Plus, you could do Marine Camps! Naval bases! US Army Air Force fields!
Very nice addition to my military train! But I'm waiting and not even sure why, but I'll know the deal when I see it! I hope, lol!

Thank you for your service Bill.
I ordered one for my son too. He graduated from officers training at Fort Benning to 2nd lieutenant, now he's a Captian and up for Major. He will like the Fort Benning Bus. (can you tell I'm proud of him? )
I like it. Really nice idea.
One thing Menards does not do is give the scale of its models. Would be nice to know for those more scale oriented looking for lower cost options.

And you should be! I thank him and all that serve(d).
Mike
May God Bless and keep him safe! Hoo-hah!
I received mine today with one truck broken off its rivet. I am contacting Menard's to return it for a replacement.
Neal Jeter
Thank you Menard's! I emailed them just a little while ago and Ray from customer service already responded and they are sending me a replacement and a return label.
